It’s about London now! This blog started with a job offer Matt got to work in London, England. He accepted. We arrive January 1, 2006 - a great day to start life in a new country :O)
Since we’ll be far from family and friends, I’ll be trying to document as much of our adventures as I can manage here on the blog. Not sure what’s in store for me in the UK yet, but I am sure the location is a perfect launching pad for traveling Europe. Particularly I look forward to visiting Spain. And, you know, I might even find a job!
From August 04 - December 05 we’ve lived in Ithaca NY where Matt was doing a post-doc at Cornell University. I couldn’t legally work in the US during that time so I travelled whenever I could to NYC and elsewhere, taking photos.
Vancouver BC is ‘home’, since it’s where we met and got married in 1998, and it’s such a fabulous, beautiful, amazing city that both of us miss very much.
For the most part I’ll be the sole blogger here, but from time to time Matt’s bound to put in his two cents (pence?) as a guest :)
