These are two of multiple graphics painted on the drive/sidewalk of a commercial building near Spitalfields Market:

no parking bird poops cars

dinner no parking
If you park there I’m guessing your car will be cursed!

  1. Hi , I’m really puzzled trying to figure out these signs. The only suggestion I would have is ;
    1.Is this a pigeon poop area (on cars) or do cars have to avoid the pigeons??
    2. Is this a car park in front of a diner??. Maybe not because I see scooters in the background??
    Oh well I gave it a try !!

  2. Ha ha, nice try :) It’s fun to try to figure out what the painter was thinking, isn’t it?

    I think each one is supposed to be a ‘no parking’ warning, like if you park there birds will crap on your car, or your car will become dinner… it’s an arty neighbourhood and ridiculously busy with traffic, so I put those two things together to come to my conclusion…
