When people hear that song in North America I think it’s common to have a picture in your mind of this bridge here, right?

It’s a fun image to conjure, but the bridge above is Tower Bridge, which crosses from the Tower of London to the south bank.

and though you can’t see in this picture, the bridge’s name is clearly carved into each section that props it up. That settles onsite any arguements tourists might have about it!

Great pictures! Wonder if you know that the old London bridge is in the USA in Nevada not far from Laughlin. Got to see it two years ago. Just a few days now and you should have all your belongings and the opportunity to settle in. It won’t be long and it will feel like home. Wonderful news and it seems you are finally almost set. But I am hurt since you never commented about my suggestions about the Horny tea and Fairy dish soap. I am really trying to help you dearests. And what about the bidet? Don’t you have one? As I told you, if you don’t use it, we could always use it as a cooler for white wine. Remember, you will be there in June and we both expect our wines chilled but, perhaps you have a frigo which would make things simpler but, remember, the bidet is the second best option. Things here are fine and Jim got confirmation as to his course in Liverpool to-day, as well as the one in Rome. Can’t wait to be in Rome. Such a lovely city. So we shall be in London, U.K. not London, Ont. I hate it, arriving the 8th, departing the 10th for Liverpool, then back to London and flying to Rome and back the 24 in London, then back to Canada the 27th. Can’t wait to go to that Indian Resto which Matt. described. It sounds fab. and you did not answer my question, was the wine included in that 20 pounds? Give my best to the Queen and nothing to Ms Poke her Hole and Charly baby. I dislike them both. By the way, did I write her name correctly? Is it Parker-Bowles? You see with age, I am beginning to doubt my hearing and spelling but, the first one seems to fit my intentions. By the way, I love her mouth especially when she shows her lovely teeth. Wow, was a horsey Duchess. Far from our lovely Princess of Wales, Diana.

Hi Clem! We had a laugh about the Horny tea and Fairy soap, sorry we haven’t had much time to leave comments - still no internet access at home! It might be another two weeks… we haven’t found the tea but have seen the Fairy kitchen cleaner! You should see the TV ads for it, I’m sure you’d love it. As for the Lahore Kebab indian resto, you BYOB - they don’t sell any wine there. So it works out beautifully! I hope you both enjoy your trip! I can’t wait to visit Rome, but we’ll have to wait until Matt takes some holiday time. Oh and we don’t have a bidet! Our modern apartment doesn’t allow for such a thing, but the bathroom is so big we could always install one ;)

Finally, m hearing about you and getting to know how this blog works. Sad news, Bob passed away last evening. Erin got married Sunday. It does not make sense but it will when Mary or I tell you but not now. Memorial service, the 22nd. He was just 60. Only Leslie who lives, works and studies at Kings’College was at her precipated wedding in Melbourne, Australia. The whole thing is beyond belief. Leslie has to go back to Londres, England then fly from there to London, Ont. (boring city) for Jim’s performing the memorial service. Not looking forward to that. All of Jim’s nieces will be there. Erin will be flying from Melbourne to attend. We knew but did not want to believe it would come so soon and so fast. We were there Boxing Day and from there on it went so fast. We will give you details when in Londres, U.K. in June. Jim got comfirmation about his course yesterday. One week in Liverpool, and the second one in Rome and I will be trailing along tho, will have a straight stay with a girl friend near Lincoln for a while then join in Liverpool for the rest of the intercourse, back to London briefly, then to Rome for another week, can’t wait for that, m fond of romantic Romans, then back to London while we should get together with, what’s their names? something like Winns, at least for a glass of wine or 2,3,4, ask Merry, she knows better, then back to To. Ont. the 27th.
Too bad about the tea. Hope you will get some so we could have a cup of Horny while we are there and I’ll be glad to help you washing the cups with the Fab Fairy dish soap. Can’t wait. Spoke to Merry my bestest girlfriend of course saw them over the week-end, a surprise visit, but that is another story. Ta-ta for now and wish Ms Poke her Hole a hell of a good screw, sorry I meant to say, the Duchess of Porn Wall and her forever wishing Tampax, Charlie, yes, have you not read a book about their taped conversations? That’s what he wanted to be for the rest of his life, the above mentioned, and that should be our next King and Queen Camilla Poke her Hole or Duchess of Porn Wall and Chuck of Windsor.
